Portland With Amanda

Hey Amanda, I had so much fun.  You did an amazing job with wardrobe and looking fantastic.  I was so glad that we were able to pull this off despite the rain.  Thanks for bringing my tripod down to Salem.  I'll have some more up on my website in the next week or so under portraits.  Thanks for everything.

This was an amazing wedding at the Blue Rooster Inn Bed and Breakfast on the outskirts of Eugene Oregon.  Just the beauty of the drive out there heightened the excitement I already had about this wedding.  As I got there the night preceding the wedding and saw the sun setting before we rushed off to the rehearsal dinner I knew I would have a hard time deciding where I wanted to create my images because there was just too many options.   The next morning we started nice and early with the fog hugging the hills and the cool brisk air on our ears. Eventually it burned off and the sun lit the day beautifully and we were on our way.   Stefani (the bride) and Jesse (the groom) were so awesome to work with.  (You guys rock!!!  Thank you so much for letting me be apart of your wedding!!!)  Stefani looked absolutely stunning as you can see from the images on the site, and Jesse was the stud of the day, even though he liked walking around with his shirt off, which was hilarious.   Kelly (Sefani's mom, Manager of the Bridal Gallery in Salem Oregon) I had so much fun giving you crap all day long just because, and seeing all the hard work you put into making the place look perfect.  You're amazing! The wedding was beautiful, it went smoothly and we walked away with some off the chart images to set in stone forever.  This is why I do what I do and look forward to more local and destination weddings in the future.

Thanks guys.

Genny's Senior Shoot!!! FUN!

Genny, I had so much fun tonight with you guys.  This was a great one.  Even though the girls, for some reason couldn't get past the non poisonous spider we were able to get some amazing images.  I still thought that it gets dark at like 8, but the sun sets at like 7:15 so we had to bomb out to the country with like no time, but we got it.  I using the word bomb, I wasn't driving like crazy fast, cause my speedometer doesn't even work, so speed is irrelevant.  Anyways Genny's mom can attest to the fact that I wasn't speeding.  Anyways.  Genny, thanks for coming along and holding the ligts, mom.  Well thanks for not saying what you were probably thinking at times.  "Ean, are you serious, want to do what?"  So we had a bast as I always do.  Doing our High School Senior Portraits here in good ol' Salem Oregon was so much fun Kate already booked her shoot on next Friday.  I'm sure you'll be as cool as Genny.  Genny thanks for the beautiful smile, fun attitude and great wardrobe.  Rock on Studio 190

After wedding Shoot

Here is a fun one I did a few weeks ago.  In preparation for destinations wedding photography and after wedding shoots, I decided to go with an idea I had in my mind for a while involving a couch and beautiful Pacific City Oregon.   So my now friend Brittany and husband Jared and some friends of mine scheduled to head out on monday a day after Brittany and Jared got back from their honeymoon, but the weather was to iffy to do it.  So we set to head out the next day before they were going to move to San Diego. One of my stylists Rachel from Salon 554 and a local makeup artist Jodi Dirks were awesome enough revamp the date on the spot and get Brittany all done up amazingly and we headed out to do the shoot.  I had so much fun as I always do with these types of shoots.  Brittany and Jared were so much fun to work with and I walked away with so many amazing images to hold close to my heart.  Thanks for everyone who helped make this rewarding night happen.  I will be making After Wedding shoots available now as an option to do from here out with wedding packages.

Mark Rockin' it in the country

This was a fun one.  The second day was and oops I forgot my stand for my strobes so we gettoized a stand and used a little bit of a silver reflector.  While we were jetting around the country trying to actually find one of these fires I leaned over to Mark and said, "It feels like we're chasing a tornado or something," cause at one point the fire is straight ahead and then you crest the hill and then it's like a million miles away.  We had a blast though.  Mark, can't wait to do our shoot in P-town with you and Yeller, that'll be fun!
